Steve Carrodus

Sydney Harbour National Park – Manly

Joining the Chamber in 2021, and elected President in 2024, Steve has connected with the area via a love of the ocean, the outdoors and being fortunate to spend most of his days at Q Station as General Manager of this incredible site. Originally from New Zealand, Steve has travelled, lived and worked abroad for much of his adult life before settling here in Sydney in 2015. Steve’s career success within hotels globally has centred on the development of people within business to create success, a better culture and community and ultimately profitability. Steve gets energy in business from creativity, freedom to make change, and learning from challenges that stand in the path to success.
People, relationships and stakeholder management has always been a strong requirement of his roles, having worked for many successful owner operators and entrepreneurs. He thrives on driving high standards and creating the most unique experiences for staff and guests alike.
Steve wants to grow himself as a leader, a community ambassador and as a business operator with the support of the dynamic individuals within the Chamber team, as he hopes to do for them as well.

Kyla Kelleher

VICE PRESIDENT

Pine Property

Joining the Chamber in 2021 and elected Vice President in 2023, Kyla is the Director of Pine Property, a locally family owned and run Commercial Real Estate business based in Manly. With over 15 years experience in marketing, communications and events, working with blue chip and international clients. Kyla has a natural passion for igniting engagement and working with stakeholders to bring creative and strategic ideas to life. Kyla has been key in bringing marketing ideas to the Chamber to increase membership and engagement.

Kyla is deeply integrated into the Manly community, being a long time resident, business owner and local mum. Kyla is excited to collaborate with local businesses and the greater Manly community to see Manly prosper.

Cameron Stewart

TREASURER

International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS)

Cameron is the Vice President (Operations) at ICMS, an industry leader of career focused higher education in Australia. He has established a reputation for success in the management of small and large businesses including hotels, student living, real estate & management rights, commercial & residential leasing, live venues, fine dining & QSR restaurants, bars, major events & conventions, micro-brewery, gaming, travel, property development, education, and co-working spaces.

Cameron’s hands-on approach to business coupled with his strong service-centric philosophy, has served the organisations he has represented well. He has created and led leading hospitality brands as Managing Director and is known for managing change within flat organisational structures. He is open, dynamic and inclusive with a consultative approach to peers and direct reports and enjoys connecting and working with others to achieve positive outcomes.

Manly is now home for Cameron, and he is keen to assist the local business community emerge from the current pandemic with strength, courage, and innovation.

Andrea Costi

Registered Architect & Owner, Just Architects
Joining the Executive Committee in 2024, with over 20 years of experience in the field of architecture, Andrea Costi is a professional specialising in residential, retail, and commercial design. As the owner of Just Architects, located in Manly, Andrea has built a reputation for innovative and sustainable design solutions that enhance both functionality and aesthetics.
Andrea’s commitment to the community extends beyond his practice. He’s an active supporter of the Manly Business Chamber and the Freshwater Sub-Committee, helping to foster local business growth and community development. His passion for architecture is matched by his dedication to creating spaces that enrich the lives of those who inhabit them.
Driven by a vision of blending modern design with environmental sensitivity, Andrea strives to leave a lasting positive impact on the built environment. Whether he’s working on a cozy residential project or a vibrant retail space, his focus remains on quality, collaboration, and community engagement.

Ramsie Taylor

Pilu at Freshwater

Hailing from the U.S., Ramsie landed on the Northern Beaches in 2010 and never left.

The atmosphere, people, lifestyle and incredible landscape of the Northern Beaches are, for her, second to none. Having worked in hospitality from a young age Ramsie has learnt from the ground up how to manage and run every aspect of a customer focused business.

Honing business skills for the last 10 years under the mentorship of Giovanni Pilu & Marilyn Annecchini, Pilu at Freshwater is where you will spot her most often. Understanding and working on the many challenges businesses in the Northern Beaches face, Ramsie joined the Manly Business Chamber to make a positive contribution to the area she takes pride in calling home.

Matt Clifton

MJC Group (Henry G’s)

Matt is the Managing Director of MJC Group of Companies, spanning across Hospitality, Events, Design, and Manufacturing. Matt owns and operates local business Henry G’s, along with partnerships with regional tourism agencies delivering large scale music events VANFEST Music & Arts Festival and Anthems Live, both of which have grown into regional flagship events for NSW and ACT.

Outside of the Entertainment industry, Matt has achieved success developing short term housing solutions for the Tourism and Mining sectors with the innovative startup NODxPODS.

Named 2017 National Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Matt continues to drive with a passion for innovation and experience-based projects.

A long time local to the Manly community, he hopes to bring fresh energy along with a desire to support and stimulate our local economy.

Charlotte Rimmer

Aide de MD

Founder of Aide de MD, Charlotte’s passion is helping people become better managers.
With over 20 years experience in strategic people management both in London and Sydney, Charlotte bring a hands-on approach to business management. She loves working closely with executives and business owners, reminding them why they started on their path and guiding them to achieve their goals.
Charlotte’s success lies in her clients’ achievements. Seeing them reach their goals, even amidst challenges, is what keeps her inspired.
She contributes to society through pro bono projects, was named Manly Woman of the Year in 2022, and elected President of the Manly Business Chamber from 2022- 2024.
Charlotte is also a proud member of the AICD and continues to learn through studies and research. You may have spotted Charlotte in the AFR a few times! When she is not busy empowering businesses, you’ll find Charlotte enjoying the Northern Beaches with her husband, two sons, and their happy dog Freddy. Travel, yoga and beach time are her go-to for relaxation.

Adam Gainsford

Hotel Steyne Licensee

Adam Gainsford is the licensee of Hotel Steyne and a dedicated advocate for Manly’s vibrant hospitality scene. Joining the Manly Business Chamber Executive Committee in 2024, Adam brings a wealth of experience in the night-time economy. As a member of the Foreshore Sub-Committee, he has played a key role in the Chamber’s outdoor dining committee, leveraging his strong industry insights and connections to enhance the local dining and entertainment experience.

Alex Jacques

ANTHEMCYCLE

Alex is the founder and owner of ANTHEMCYCLE, the Northern Beaches’ premier rhythm ride indoor cycling studio. Part of the Manly Chamber’s health and wellness sub-committee

Alex helped create and execute Manly’s first-ever Health & Wellness Festival, and a social media campaign highlighting wellness businesses in Manly.
Prior to this, Alex has spent 14 years in the sports and entertainment industries working in event production and marketing for companies such as Madison Square Garden Company (NY Rangers & NY Knicks), Red Bull, Team USA, Under Armour, and 160/90.

Her passion for immersive production helped shape the ANTHEMCYCLE experience and brand. Using her knowledge of technical production and performance, ANTHEMCYCLE utilises light shows and music to create a workout that feels more like a party. Alex aims to create a full-body wellness experience that allows people to find joy in movement.

Alex moved to Manly from New York City in 2019 and now considers Manly her home, recently becoming a citizen. Coming from a family of small business owners, Alex’s goal is to see the Health & Wellness Festival continue and grow, and to help create impactful initiatives that encourage long-term patronage and support of small local businesses in Manly.

Natalie Galipienzo

Natalie is the founder and director of Meet in Manly, a boutique event management agency dedicated to showcasing Manly and the Northern Beaches as premier business events destination. With over 20 years’ experience across tourism, hospitality, and events, Natalie is passionate about helping organisations create unforgettable conferences, exhibitions, and corporate experiences right across Australia.
Through Meet in Manly, Natalie not only supports local businesses to deliver seamless, creative events, but also drives visitation and economic benefit to the region. Her expertise, energy, and deep local connections make her a proud advocate for Manly and the Northern Beaches.

Genine Lopes

Genine is the founder and director or Unique Workplace Consulting, a HR Consultancy. Genine has over two decades of executive-level experience in HR and WHS across diverse industries, working with blue or white-collar workplaces, interpreting employment instrument and now runs her own business which supports business owners get the best out of their people through providing them strategic, practical, and commercially sound advice.
She holds a Master of Safety, Health & Environment, and qualifications in Risk Management, Postgraduate in Business and is a Professional Member of the Australian HR Institute.
Through her personal brand of relationships and community, Genine is looking forward to building on her connections and advocating for local business across the Manly Community.

Molly Linton

Funky & Green
Molly Linton is the founder and creative force behind My Funky Bags, an eco-conscious accessories brand that blends sustainable innovation with traditional craftsmanship. Molly built a successful career in sales and marketing with global companies including Virgin International, Microsoft, and Christian Dior. Her work took her across continents — from Africa and Thailand to Australia and London — giving her a global perspective and a deep passion for cultural connection. Molly recently launched Funky & Green, a sustainable lifestyle store in the heart of Manly. The boutique curates’ eco-conscious fashion, homewares, and gifts, providing a platform for like-minded brands while also showcasing Molly’s own designs to the Northern Beaches community.
I enjoy working within a team to create strategies and events that foster business growth and community connection. Through the Chamber, I hope to contribute my skills, experience, and energy to support the local business community here in Manly.

Tony Kingston

TK Business Advisory

Tony is a local Small Business Coach with extensive experience in starting and running small businesses. With more than 20 years experience, Tony has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities small business owners face day-to-day. This has been the driving force behind his decision to join the Chamber with his goal to extend greater support to Manly’s small business owners. Tony’s greatest satisfaction comes from seeing clients succeed. Whether it’s a business owner finally paying themselves properly, a team working together more harmoniously, or profits rising without extra hours on the tools, those wins are what fuel his work. He’s an active member of the local business community, regularly running quarterly planning sessions and workshops to help owners step back, reset, and focus on what really matters. He has been actively involved helping One Meal deliver food across the Northern Beaches for more than three years. When not coaching, Tony enjoys time with his wife, two daughters, and their Sheepadoodle, Shaun. He loves all sports, along with ocean swimming, cooking, skiing, and traveling.
